Released in 1968, this is an omnibus album conceived by Caetano Veloso, a central figure in the Tropicália movement.

Featuring Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Gal Costa, Mutantes, Nara Leão, and other young talents who would later shape the Brazilian music scene, its psychedelic content is known as a landmark work of Brazilian music, a manifesto of sorts against bossa nova.

This is a masterpiece that remains in history, re-evaluating traditional Brazilian music while also incorporating influences from rock and psychedelia, attempting to evolve Brazil's unique MPB (Música Popular Brasileira).

- Title: TROPICALIA OU PAIS ET CIRCENSES
- Record Label: PHILIPS
- Catalog Number: 6436303
- Format: LP
- Condition: Good

This is a reissue from a label known for releasing Brazilian music in the late 1990s. It's been almost 25 years since I purchased it, and while there's some aging on the jacket, I think it's in beautiful condition.

I originally listened to it on CD when I worked at a record store, so I haven't played this LP many times. I listened to the record again for this listing, and in my setup [Technics SL-1200MK3D × ORTOFON CONCORDE PRO S], there is no surface noise, and you can listen to it without any problems.

Please consider it.
